I'm your universe talking now: Yesterday was my daughter's 32nd birthday. I worked in an office for the first 18 months after she was born, then quit my job to stay home with her to write. Yesterday, as I let my mind wander back through her life, I realized a couple of things. The first eighteen months of their first child's life are the hardest for parents. It slowly gets easier after that. I also realized that staying home with her to write was the most important thing I have done for myself, my husband, and our daughter. We are who we are today because of the writing journey I began in 1989.
Stick with it. You are on the right track.
